This 30 minute MELT practice focuses on beginning the lower body compression techniques and helps with lower back relief. MELT can also help with inflammation, improve circulation, and restore the fluid state of connective tissue. Assessments are included in the practice to improve your Body Sense (proprioception). You may also notice indirect positive upper body changes with this practice.

  • Standing Assessment

  • Standing Reassessment
  • Rest Assess
  • Reconnect Sequence on Floor Assess
  • Lower Body Compression: Back of Thigh Shear; Calf Glide and Shear; and Inner Thigh Shear
  • Rebalance Sequence (on Floor again if new to MELT) Reassess
  • Rest Reassess

*Foot treatments can be practiced daily and not only helps with your feet but also indirectly helps to begin restoring the lower body and is a key component of the low back pain study results.

This class is a great way to start your MELT journey and to refine your technique.
